I enjoy books that have/are:

fast or leisurely paced

action-packed, character-driven,plot-driven and world- building stories,

I steer clear of dark fantasy, horror, paranormal romance, intricately plotted and stylistically complex books.

This year so far has been hard for me to get back into reading finding stuff I really want to read that really allow me to get absorbed into the book.  It has been a bag of mixed results.  A lot of experimenting with diffenent authors, writing styles, pace, storyline and character and not so much about genre.
